Checkmail3.2使用指南

一，简介：

是一个小巧的邮箱监视器，可同时监视多个信箱。
二，用法：
安装时可选择是否检查netscape的邮箱设置

主窗口如图：

1，E-mail address:

窗口左边为要检查的邮箱列表，右边填写mailboxname(邮箱名)，pop3 user name(用户名)，pop3 password(密码)，pop3 sever(服务器)，所使用email的程序，信件到来时提示的声音文件(wave file to play)及影象文件(Avi file to play)

2，Notifications

Time between mail checks：输入每隔几分钟检查一次邮箱。
Sound notificatons:声音提示
Beep when there is mail in the mailbox：新邮件在信箱时发beep声
Play wavefile when there is mail in the mailbox：新邮件在信箱时播放的wave声音文件
play sound only if there is new mail in the mailbox：新邮件到时或有邮件在信箱发声直至下载完毕。
Visual notificatons:视觉提示
Start email program：邮件到时启动程序
View headers:查看信头
Display a message box:出现一个窗口，提示你有新邮件。
play a avi movie:播放影象文件
loop play a avi movie:循环播放影象文件
E-mail Notification:用email通知你有新信。
your notify email address:输入通知的email地址

3,Addresses/paths

Address:
your mail email address: 常用的email地址
The address to your smtp sever:smtp服务器地址
Paths
Default email program:系统默认的email程序
Default wave file to play:默认播放的wav文件,如果其他信箱不设置,则播放此文件.
Default avi file to play:默认播放的avi文件，如果其他信箱不设置,则播放此文件.
4,Misc

Psssword:
Password for the setting dialog:设置进入设置窗口的密码
Other functions
Checkmail updates the setting in netscape and internet mail：将checkmail的邮箱设置刷新netscape,ie的邮箱设置
Automatically confirm delete questions:删除邮件时不需要确认
show message size:显示邮件大小
Disable delete messages:在查看信头窗口内不能删除邮件。
Alway start minimized：启动后checkmail自动最小化
Close window when email program starts：当打开程序是关闭查看信头窗口
show colors in VH listbox：在查看信头窗口内使用颜色显示。
Time before timeout  occurs:超时时间。
Check mial web news:是否接受checkmail的更新或其他信息。
Show part of the message:只显示邮件的几行。

5,Reject  Mail

Reject mail from
enable e-mail reject:启动邮件拒收功能
Auto-respond to rejected mail :对每封信自动答复
Reject mail :可选择三种拒收方式，即发信地址，收信地址及主题。
Rejection mail：编辑拒收的答复信的内容和主题

6,Important mail

Improtant mail from：启动重要邮件监视功能。
Improtant mail:可选择三种重要邮件方式，即发信地址，收信地址及主题。
右边窗口为重要邮件地址列表
Import wave file to play:重要邮件到来时发出的wave文件
import avi file to play:重要邮件到来时播放的avi文件

7,dial up

Dial up:设置拨号连接
Suspend checkmail if no dialup connection is active：当拨号连接成功后才使用checkmail监视。
Use dialup connection:选择是否使用拨号连接
Time between check mail starts checking:每隔多长时间自动拨号
Relay before checkmail starts checking:连接成功后延迟多长时间才启动checkmail
Time between redial attempts:断线后隔多长时间重新连接
Hang up:设置断线
Disconnect if there is no new mail:没有新邮件时断线
Alway disconnect:总是断线
Never disconect: 永不断线

将邮件发到寻呼机，在中国这种服务还很少，就不介绍了。
